Student Life

A disciple's life here will be filled with strong and relevant teaching, discipleship, and outreach.  Most days will begin at 8 a.m. and ending around 10 p.m. with lighter days on Saturday and a day off on Mondays.  Here are just a few things that they will be involved in on a typical day.

Prayer - Every morning will be started with an hour of prayer.  This will instill a lifestyle of prayer and relationship with Christ.  We must know that everything we do must be approached prayerfully since it is what moves His hand.  Prayer is essential to a disciple's life and will be central to all they do.

Study Time - Time will be set aside each day for scripture memorization, bible reports, book reports, and sermon preparation.  All these items will shape a focus in their lives to study the Word of God and show themselves approved.  It will also put inside them an answer for the great hope that is inside of them.

Teachings - Disciples will learn both the heart and backbone of both life and ministry through teachings from MC staff, graduates, and Oasis staff.  Vital insight will be given on how to live life both inside and outside of the ministry.

Corem Deo - Is an intimate setting that looks as its goal to become face-to-face with God.  In these powerful moments disciples will grasp definitive direction from God that will help guide the rest of their lives.

Outreach - Disciples will put into practice all that they been taught to effectively reach out into the lives of communities all over the world.  Outreach is designed to reach into lives where they are at and restore them to a place of dignity.

Mentorship - We do not believe that true discipleship happens until a disciple finds someone else to pour their life into.  This will be accomplished through the Hollywood/CORE groups that is based out of the Oasis.
